Rehabilitation of 17 bank employees in the field of compliance with laws related to international sanctions

Based on Al-Kuraimi Islamic Microfinance Bank’s vision, we believe in the importance of the human capital ongoing development and improvement of ongoing training as one of the most effective means of disseminating and delivering knowledge among the bank’s human resources, which provides the bank’s employees with the information and skills necessary to carry out and fulfill their tasks and duties to the fullest extent in accordance with internal, local requirements and international best practices.

From this standpoint, Al-Kuraimi Islamic Microfinance Bank cooperates with several international professional training bodies such as ACAMS, CIBAFI, which provide professional certificates recognized by international institutions specializing in Risk Sector, Compliance Management, Audit Management and other banking specialties.

In this context, we are pleased to announce the latest updates regarding our qualified staff who have long experience in the banking field, where 17 employee had obtained the CAMS certificate from Compliance team, Risk sector and Audit. However, this number is considered as the highest number in terms of CAMS holders in Republic of Yemen’s level.

In addition, 12 employee from Compliance team, Risk sector have previously obtained the certificate of an Islamic specialist in risk management - CISRIM issued by CIBAFI - General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions.

Finally, 4 employees had obtained  the CGSS Certificate - Certified Specialist in Global  Sanctions issued by ACAMS, Moreover, they are the first people who got it in Republic of Yemen’s level.
